About Jules & Polly

Hello, I'm Jules – and the beautiful brown face you'll see throughout Polly's Paper Garden belongs to my horse, Polly.

Polly's Paper Garden grew from my love of beautiful stationery, creativity and those small, thoughtful things that can bring a little happiness to an ordinary day. I wanted to create something that wasn't simply about buying a notebook or a few pieces of stationery, but about the whole experience of opening a box filled with carefully chosen treasures and being inspired to do something creative with them.

And when it came to giving that idea a name and a personality, there really could only be one choice.

Polly is my much-loved horse and the inspiration behind our name. Horses have a wonderful way of bringing you back into the present moment. When I'm with Polly, the noise of everyday life seems to quieten for a while – and in many ways, that's exactly what I hope journalling and creativity can offer too.

Why Polly’s Paper Garden?

I believe there is something rather special about putting pen to paper, choosing beautiful materials and creating something with your own hands.

You don't have to be artistic. You don't need to know how to journal. And you certainly don't need to create something worthy of showing anybody else.

Sometimes it's simply about giving yourself permission to stop.

To write. To stick. To doodle. To remember. To reflect. To play with beautiful things. Or perhaps just to enjoy ten peaceful minutes with a notebook and a cup of tea.

That's the feeling I wanted to put inside every Polly's Paper Garden box.

I personally curate the collections, choosing stationery, papers, creative elements and thoughtful little treats that I hope will make opening your box feel like receiving a present – even when you've bought it for yourself.

You'll also find plenty of inspiration through our Blog, Leaf Notes, where Polly and I will share ideas, information, creative techniques and gentle encouragement as you discover your own way of journalling.

Polly may provide the beautiful face of the business, but behind every box is me, choosing, planning and packing with genuine care.
